PXW-Z200 1.0 CMOS Sensor XDCAM Camcorder

The Sony PXW-Z200 is a high-performance 4K HDR camcorder designed for broadcast and professional video production. Specifically, it features a 1.0-type Exmor RS stacked CMOS sensor for incredible detail and low-light sensitivity. Because it utilizes the advanced BIONZ XR processor, the camera easily captures 4K footage at up to 120fps. Furthermore, the inclusion of S-Cinetone allows for effortless color-matching with Sony’s Cinema Line cameras. Consequently, this camcorder is the ideal tool for news, events, and high-end documentaries.

AI-Enhanced Shooting and Precision Focus

This camcorder uses Sony’s latest AI Processing Unit to recognize and track human subjects with extreme accuracy. For instance, the Fast Hybrid AF system maintains sharp focus even when subjects move quickly across the frame. Additionally, the PXW-Z200 features a unique Electronic Variable ND Filter for seamless exposure control. This allows you to maintain a consistent depth of field while lighting conditions change. Alternatively, you can activate the Auto ND function to let the camera manage exposure for you instantly.

Broadcast Connectivity and Remote Workflow

The PXW-Z200 is built for professional broadcast environments. Specifically, it includes a 12G-SDI output, which provides four times the bandwidth of standard 3G-SDI over a single cable. Moreover, the camera features Timecode (TC) input/output and supports broadcast-standard XAVC (MXF) recording. For wireless workflows, the built-in dual-band Wi-Fi enables direct streaming to the cloud via the XDCAM Pocket app. As a result, you can monitor your shots remotely and deliver high-quality content faster than ever before.
