Soft Edge Graduated ND Filter

The Tiffen 4 x 5.65″ Soft Edge Graduated ND Filter darkens skies and other bright areas of your image. It stays densest at the edge and tapers to clear by the middle. A soft-edged line marks the transition between the dark and clear areas. As a result, you get a smooth and natural blend across your frame.

Neutral Density Without Color Shift

This filter does not change the color of your image. Instead, it simply reduces the amount of light entering the lens in selective areas. The 0.3 ND graduated version cuts light by 1 stop where you apply it. So you can control bright skies and overexposed areas without altering the rest of your scene.

ColorCore Technology

Tiffen builds this filter using ColorCore technology. The process laminates the filter substrate between two pieces of optical glass. Then it grinds the glass flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. As a result, you get exceptional optical clarity and consistent performance across the entire surface. The filter measures 4 x 5.65″ / 101.6 x 143.5mm, so it fits standard matte box and filter holder systems.
