The system supports up to four wireless motors, giving operators complete control over focus, iris, zoom, and compatible variable ND filters for demanding production environments.

Complete Wireless FIZ Control

The Nucleus-M II controls up to four wireless motors simultaneously, allowing precise adjustment of focus, iris, zoom, and a Variable ND Filter when used with the Mirage Pro Matte Box. This setup is ideal for gimbals, Steadicams, drones, handheld rigs, and other camera systems where direct lens access is limited.

The redesigned wireless motors feature a compact, high-torque design with a streamlined user interface and color-coded LED indicators. The motors support both 0.8 and 0.5 gear pitches, making the system compatible with a wide range of cinema and photography lenses.

Advanced FIZ Hand Unit

The updated FIZ Hand Unit delivers accurate lens control and now uses NP-F550 batteries for easier power management. The hand wheel includes adjustable tension for smoother focus pulls, while built-in lens mapping provides accurate motor positioning for repeatable focus, iris, and zoom adjustments.

Multiple display options present focus distance, iris, and zoom information clearly. The Electronic Focus Marking Disc places focus information in a natural viewing position, helping operators monitor lens settings during production.

Professional Workflow and Broad Compatibility

The system stores and recalls mapped lens data, allowing camera assistants to quickly return focus to specific distances, iris to selected T-stops, or zoom to exact focal lengths. The FIZ Hand Unit also supports wireless camera control for compatible functions such as ISO, white balance, shutter speed, and other camera settings.

The Nucleus-M II integrates seamlessly with previous Nucleus-Series controllers and motors, including Nucleus-M and Nano II systems. This compatibility allows users to upgrade their workflow gradually while continuing to use existing equipment.
